Corning Presslok UY2 Connectors (Bulk 240-Count Bundle)
Ensure reliable, high-speed data and voice connections with this bulk set of Corning Presslok UY2 Connectors. Specifically designed for the telecommunications industry, these IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) “butt” splices allow for quick, tool-assisted wiring without the need to strip insulation.
This bundle includes 2 packs, each containing 10 cartridges (120 connectors per pack), for a total of 240 connectors. These are pre-loaded in cartridges, making them ideal for use with automated Presslok crimping tools for high-efficiency field work.
Key Features
High-Speed Ready: Optimized for modern bandwidth demands, including high-speed internet, VOD, and video conferencing.
No-Strip Technology: The UY2’s internal “U” contact displaces insulation and grips the copper conductor in one firm motion, creating a gas-tight, vibration-proof connection.
Expanded Insulation Capacity: Accommodates wire insulation up to 2.08 mm (0.082 in), allowing for a wider range of cable types.
Solvent-Resistant Construction: Built with rugged, chemical-resistant plastic to ensure longevity in various environmental conditions.
Moisture Resistant: Filled with a specialized sealant to protect connections against corrosion and moisture ingress—perfect for outdoor or underground splice enclosures.
Cartridge Loaded: Designed for rapid-fire application via compatible Presslok hand tools, significantly reducing technician fatigue and installation time.

Installation Tip
For the most reliable connection, ensure the wires are pushed all the way to the back of the connector before crimping. Using a dedicated Presslok crimping tool ensures even pressure is applied across the cap, preventing the “slanted” crimps that can occur with standard pliers, which can lead to signal loss in high-bandwidth circuits.
