NK Technologies DT Series DC Current Transducer (DT0-420-24U-U-FL)
The DT Series DC Current Transducer provides a precise 4-20mA output signal that is directly proportional to the DC current passing through the sensing aperture. This high-reliability industrial sensor is essential for monitoring DC loads, solar strings, or battery banks, allowing for easy integration into PLCs or building management systems.
Key Performance Features
Multi-Range Capability: This unit features field-selectable ranges of 5A, 10A, and 20A, allowing you to fine-tune the sensitivity based on your specific application.
Solid-Core Design: The “Fixed Core” construction provides superior accuracy and long-term stability compared to split-core alternatives, ensuring a consistent magnetic path.
Standard Industrial Output: The 4-20mA signal is ideal for long-distance transmission as it is highly resistant to electrical noise.
Large Sensing Aperture: The 19.1 mm (0.75″) opening easily accommodates large gauge wires or cables.
Isolation: Provides physical and electrical isolation between the measured DC circuit and the monitoring control system for enhanced safety.

Installation Tip
Direction Matters: When installing a DC transducer, ensure the current flows in the direction of the arrow marked on the sensor housing. If the cable is installed backward, the sensor may not provide a reading or may output the minimum signal (4mA) regardless of the actual load.
