Important Usage Notes
Manual Operation Only: This is a non-electronic adapter. Features like autofocus, AE metering, and image stabilization will be disabled.
Camera Settings: You must set your camera to “Shoot Without Lens” in the menu and use Manual or Aperture Priority (stop-down) metering.
Focus-By-Wire: Not compatible with “Focus-By-Wire” lenses (like some modern STM lenses) that require electronic power to move the manual focus ring.
Aperture Control: Your lens must have a manual aperture ring. If it does not, the lens will remain at its default (wide open or fully stopped down) position.
